The sciences, mathematics and computer science departments at NJCU have joined forces to recruit, 保留, and graduate more 科学, 技术, Engineering and Mathematics (阀杆) majors. We offer a wide array of 阀杆-related programs, from research to education, that take advantage of our research agendas, funding from State and federal sources, and partnerships with industry and school districts to create unique opportunities for all NJCU students.
The 阀杆 departments at NJCU offer students a unique opportunity to start on a path towards success: faculty who work with students in small classes and research projects, new laboratories and facilities, a diverse student body, and activities in and out of our campus. NJCU is located in an incomparable location: The Greater New York City area, and we make use of all that it has to offer.
According to the US Department of Commerce:“科学, 技术, engineering and mathematics (阀杆) workers drive our nation’s innovation and competitiveness by generating new ideas, new companies and new industries. 然而,你.S. businesses frequently voice concerns over the supply and availability of 阀杆 workers. Over the past 10 years, growth in 阀杆 jobs was three times as fast as growth in non-阀杆 jobs. 阀杆 workers are also less likely to experience joblessness than their non-阀杆 counterparts. 科学, 技术, engineering and mathematics workers play a key role in the sustained growth and stability of the U.S. economy, and are a critical component to helping the U.S. win the future.
At NJCU we will provide you with the tools you need to achieve success in a 阀杆 field, and as such to fulfill your dreams.
For more information about the 阀杆 programs and opportunities, please contact the chairperson of the Department.
